• One piece of luggage (student must be able to carry or roll the suitcase)

• Bed Linens/sleeping bag, pillow, blanket

• Towels, washcloths, soap, and other toiletries

• Raincoat/poncho

• Old shoes that tie for wading in the marsh and seining (shoes will get muddy)

• Extra pairs of shoes – several! Closed toed shoes must be worn on the beach and in the water!

• Appropriate and modest sleeping attire for the dorm

• Hat

• Insect repellant

• Sunscreen

• Heavy trash bags for wet and dirty clothing

• A few gallon and quart zipper seal bags for beach specimens

• Flashlight with extra batteries

• Change for drink and snack machines

• Water bottle

• Shower shoes

• Jacket
